After four-round fierce games, the finals of 2015 Southwest Jiaotong University Faculty Five-men Soccer Competition arrives on 17th April. At 17：00 sharp, the spectacular rivalry between the School of Mathematics and the School of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering kicked off. Special concentrations were attached to the game. Accompanied by the Secretary of Youth League Committee, instructor for the students of 2012 Xu Haijing, Deputy Party Secretary Li Zhihui not only cheered for the athletes, but also joined in the latter half of the match, fighting shoulder-to-shoulder with the teachers from the School of Mathematics.
Although it turns out that the School of mathematics was beaten by the School of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering, the zeal for sports among teachers was not in the least undermined, for they rejoiced in team work and cooperation. This competition was highly praised by faculties for the reason that it not only boasted the enthusiasm for sports among faculties, but also bridges among different campus, enabling faculties to communicate with others.
