刘军博士自2005年以来任英国北爱尔兰奥斯特大学(Ulster University)Jordanstown校区计算与金沙威尼斯欢乐娱人城几乎最年轻(仅有1位比他年轻)的讲师,也是奥斯特大学计算机科学研究所(CSRI)的核心研究成员。在此之前,他2002年2月—2004年12月,在英国曼彻斯特大学管理学院做博士后研究,2000年3月—2002年2月,在比利时国家核研究中心(SCK•CEN)做博士后研究。他分别于1993年,1996年获得中国金沙威尼斯欢乐娱人城应用数学的学士和硕士学位,并于1999年获得中国金沙威尼斯欢乐娱人城交通信息工程及控制专业的博士学位,师从金沙威尼斯欢乐娱人城徐扬教授。
