报告题目：On the combinatorics of three truncated theta series

摘要：The past decade has witnessed a growing interest in the truncated theta series, the most interesting of which are the truncated theorems of the three classical theta identities attributed to Euler and Gauss. In this talk, we first classify these truncated series into two types, and reveal the relationship between them, and make a strong conjecture on the truncated Jacobi triple product series, which improves the original conjecture of Andrews and Merca. Then we provide a unified combinatorial treatment to understand these truncated identities. Finally, we propose a possible and more direct approach to deal with these truncated theorems.
报告人简介：
王也洲副教授,电子科技大学,2011年毕业于南开大学组合中心，目前主要从事代数组合学的研究，包括组合计数、分拆理论、对称函数等。主持完成国家自然科学基金1项，多次参加国际学术会议。在《Advances in Applied Mathematics》、《SIAM Journal on Discrete Mathematics》、《European Journal of Combinatorics》等国际一流数学期刊发表学术论文20多篇。
